These originally unissued jazz recordings are supposedly from 1958. The LP was reissued much later. The liner notes state Campbell heard Stan Capps (piano) and his group one winter evening in 1958, liked what he heard, and asked to sit in. During the night Capps told Campbell that Customtone had new stereo recording equipment. Because Campbell had yet to record in stereo, Capps with his group and Campbell made some recordings the next day.
